China Arrival Card: How to Complete the Online Arrival Card

What is The China Arrival Card ?

China Arrival Card is an entry declaration form for foreign travelers entering China.

Since November 20, 2025, China's National Immigration Administration (NIA) has provided an online service that allows foreign travelers to submit their arrival information before traveling to China.

The online service is free of charge and can make the entry process more convenient.

Who Needs to Complete the China Arrival Card?

Foreign travelers entering China generally need to complete the Arrival Card according to the procedures of the relevant immigration inspection port.

NIA also lists certain groups that may be exempt, including some permanent residents, certain holders of Mainland Travel Permits, certain transit passengers, and travelers using specific immigration procedures. When in doubt, travelers should check with NIA 12367 before departure.
